Antonio Molina
Chair, Latino Caucus of the Democratic Party of Georgia

Antonio Molina began his American journey at the age of seven in a one-bedroom apartment in Miami, Florida, where his family sought sanctuary and freedom after fleeing from a civil war in El Salvador. Upon graduating from high school Antonio proudly served in the United States Navy for six years. During that time he was awarded various decorations for service, including several Naval Achievement Medals. After an honorable discharge he enrolled in Georgia Perimeter College, where he served as vice-president of the Student Government Association and was the recipient of the President’s Award and Student of the Year in Global Studies Award. He graduated with honors in 2011 and continued his education at Emory University while working full time as the manager for El Consultorio Medico Hispano, a medical practice geared towards helping the Latino Christian community of metropolitan Atlanta. He graduated from Emory in 2013 with a double-major baccalaureate degree in political science and Latin American and Caribbean Studies. While at Emory the LACS Program selected him as a Student of the Year.

Antonio has served under State Senator Curt Thompson (D –5th District), and is currently the chief of staff for State Representative Pedro “Pete” Marin (D – Duluth). He is also the chairman of the Latino Caucus for the Democratic Party of Georgia, for which he directs Latino outreach for the Jason Carter gubernatorial election campaign. In his spare time he devotes his life to his wife Vianney and daughter Ximena, and volunteers for various non-profit organizations. He chairs the Citizenship Initiative for the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials Leadership Council, sits on the advisory board of Camp Kesem, a camp for children with a parent who has been affected by cancer, and is a member of the Berkmar High School Parent Advisory Council and PTSA board. Most recently he was presented with the Outstanding Alumnus of the Year Award from Georgia Perimeter College.
