Got Empathy?

What is Empathy?

EM•PA•THY /ˈempəTHē/ noun. - the ability to understand and share the feelings of another

Turn your EMPATHY into ACTION
through a degree in SOCIAL WORK.

If EMPATHY is understanding and sharing in the feelings of another, then SOCIAL WORK is responding to those feelings by engaging with the contributing problems to pave the way for change.

Social work is "a profession and an academic discipline that promotes social change and development, social cohesion, and the empowerment and liberation of people. Underpinned by theories of social work, social sciences, humanities and indigenous knowledge, social work engages people and structures to address life challenges and enhance wellbeing." * The principles of social work include social justice, human rights, doing no harm, collective responsibility, respect for diversity, respect for the inherent worth and dignity of human beings.
