Felony Drug Court is a non-traditional approach to sentencing criminal offenders who are drug and/or alcohol addicted. The Drug Court involves judicial monitoring and intensive rehabilitative treatment. Rather than focusing on incarcerating individuals, the Felony Drug Court attempts to address the underlying problems that contribute to the participant's criminality: addiction, employment, housing, finances, education, etc.
