Junghee Bae majored in Social Welfare at undergraduate and graduate level at Seoul National University, South Korea. She wrote her master’s thesis on the effects of networking on the social and economic performance of social enterprises. During the study, she worked for several social enterprises as a social worker (field placement) and did an internship in a nonprofit organization helping the social enterprises and cooperatives in South Korea. After completing her master’s degree, she worked at the Korea Labor Institute and conducted research on performance of social enterprises in South Korea, Korean employment-welfare delivery system and job satisfaction of employees in cooperatives. Bae’s research interests include nonprofit management, social enterprise, social entrepreneurship, social economy, sustainability of community and education welfare service.
