Hollie Hutchinson

Hollie Hutchinson worked for the Division of Family and Children Services (DFACS) for seven years as a case manager and supervisor, primarily in foster care and adoptions but also in Child Protective Services (CPS). In addition she held a position at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as a behavioral health therapist in the adult inpatient acute care unit.  Hutchinson accepted a one-year appointment in the MSW program at Valdosta State University as an assistant professor, taught three courses and was responsible for site development for new practicum sites for MSW students in the North GA area.  She previously assisted with the IV-E retention study at UGA as a grad assistant.  Hutchinson currently owns and operates two businesses in the private sector as well as the nonprofit organization Right Track. Her research interests include substance abuse addiction and treatments, child welfare, foster care, permanency, and policy.
