When you choose the School of Social Work, you join a collaborative community committed to social justice and impactful learning experiences. We are established at one of the South’s oldest land-grant universities, with a long tradition of academic, public service and research excellence. We offer degrees in social work at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels, as well as a graduate degree in nonprofit management and leadership. Our mission is to prepare culturally competent practitioners and scholars to be leaders in addressing persistent and emerging social problems through practice, research, and policy.
