The Dean Charles A. Stewart Scholarship Fund was established to honor Charles A. Stewart who served with distinction as dean of the School of Social Work at the University of Georgia from 1964 until 1995.

The purpose of the scholarship fund is to establish a scholarship for master of social work students who demonstrate a clinical focus, superior scholarship, financial need, and a commitment to volunteer service.
