Request an Intern for your NPO

Our student interns will bring a wealth of information and expertise to your organization. Internships are developed by the student in partnership with executives of nonprofit organizations in the US and abroad and are approved by the director of the program. The curriculum for the Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management and Leadership (formerly the Master of Arts in Nonprofit Organizations) includes courses in development and management of nonprofit organizations, managing and developing human resources--including staff and volunteers--quantitative research and evaluation methods, fund raising and development, grant writing and ethics of nonprofit management.

To request an intern please include the following:

  1. The name of your organization
  2. Type of nonprofit
  3. Internship description including duties and assignments - you may include additional documents as needed
  4. Dates you would like placement

Students may intern in the fall (August – November), spring (January – April) or summer (June – July) semesters. We will send your information to all enrolled students via our listserv. Interested students will contact you directly.
