How do I connect to the registration system (OASIS)?

OASIS is available on the web at www.uga.edu/ses for people with Windows versions of Internet Explorer (version 4.0 and higher) or Netscape (version 4.75 or higher).

I forgot my PIN number for OASIS. How can I recover this?

Call the Registration Office at (706) 542-4040 to have your PIN reset. You may also go by the Registration Office, 105 Holmes/Hunter Academic Building (building 0120, right behind the Arch), with a picture ID for assistance. (EITS Help Desk personnel do not have access to your PIN number.)

How can I forward ARCHES e-mail to another e-mail account?

Mail forwarding will stay in effect until changed by the user. There are two ways this can be done:

  1. Go to www.arches.uga.edu/manage.html and click on 'Forward your email'.
  2. You can also use telnet to connect to the ARCHES main services menu, select [4] Account Management, then [4] Mail Forwarding. Carefully put the exact e-mail address in to which you wish to forward ARCHES e-mail, then press the enter key and exit out of ARCHES.

How can I change my MyID?

Your MyID can be changed by coming in person to the Computer Services Annex with a picture ID Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00, where an exception form requesting the ID change can be submitted. It is a good idea to have a couple alternate names in mind, in case the preferred one is already taken.

I am a student who can't login to my WebCT class - I get an error message, or I don't see the course listed.

Two common solutions are:

  1. Most WebCT courses are setup so that the instructor adds the student's UGA MyID to the class, rather than the student adding themselvs to the class. If you do not see the class listed under "Clases" after logging in from https://webct.uga.edu , contact your instructor so they can add your UGA MyID to their class. Exceptions to this are classes that are set up for self-registration, which have a key symbol next to their listing (viewed from the violet "Add course" link under "Classes" after logging into WebCT)
  2. Login by clicking on "Login to" in the center of https://webct.uga.edu , and not by clicking on "See courses" down at the bottom of the page- this only displays the course list.
