MSW Information Sessions

“MSW Information Sessions at the University of Georgia School of Social Work”

 A series of pre-application information sessions for applicants to the MSW program are scheduled in Athens for:

 Thursday, September 17th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm

Thursday, November 19th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm

Dr. Nancy R. Williams, Director of MSW Admissions, will discuss the MSW curriculum and the MSW application process at each session. These meetings will be held in 118 Tucker Hall at the University of Georgia School of Social Work in Athens.

Please contact Ms. Teresa Wells (twells@uga.edu or 706-542-5421) to reserve a place at any of these information sessions in Athens. Participants should also contact UGA Parking Services for visitor parking information (http://www.parking.uga.edu/ or 706-542-7275). The on-line MSW application packet includes a map of the UGA Campus and directions to Tucker Hall (Follow the links to the Application Forms via the portal of “Prospective Students” at the UGA School of School Work web site at www.ssw.uga.edu). 

A pre-application information session for applicants to the part-time MSW program at the UGA School of Social Work Gwinnett Campus is scheduled for:

                                    Wednesday, October 14th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm

These sessions are held in Room 123. Applicants who are interested in MSW Information Sessions for the MSW part-time program at the UGA Gwinnett Campus (2530 Sever Road, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30043) are encouraged to contact Ms. Trudy McAfee (tmcafee@uga.edu or 678-985-6790) to reserve a place in one of the MSW Information Sessions at Gwinnett.
