The University Of Georgia School Of Social Work supports quality continuing education learning experiences in Georgia under the auspices of the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Social Workers, and Marriage and Family Therapists. Education opportunities are offered throughout the year that fulfill continuing education requirements for licensing in various professions Georgia, such as social work, professional counseling, pastoral counseling, and marriage and family therapy, among others.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
The UGA School of Social Work reserves the right to cancel scheduled continuing education courses due to low enrollment and/or unforeseen circumstances, up to one week in advance of the scheduled course. If a course is canceled, those enrolled will receive full reimbursement of the course fee or may request a registration transfer to another course within 12 months of the cancellation. Participants will be responsible for any difference in registration cost at the time of the request or in some cases a participant may receive a credit on file.

Off-Campus Courses
Healing from Racism: Therapist Process Group is a yearlong online group that meets monthly. It is offered through Clarity Counseling, LLC, Minou Rysiew, LCSW, Watkinsville, Georgia.
The NASW Code of Ethics will be interwoven throughout and participants will be encouraged to present psychoeducational pieces they are passionate about. This group is to be a starting point, an experiment, and a space to reflect on group dynamics and the efficacy of agreed-upon tools. It has been lovingly and purposefully designed for psychotherapists to safely explore the effects of racism at the personal and interpersonal level in their own lives. Clarity Counseling is committed to supporting healers, promoting social justice and celebrating diversity.
Participants will earn 19 Core and 5 Ethics CEUs
12 month group (Second Saturday of each month)
September 12, 2020 – August 14, 2021
Saturdays 10 am – noon $60 per visit (Group fees apply regardless of attendance)
