Outcome measure benchmarks for each embedded measure and common assignment were established by the MSW faculty, as described above. The MSW program then set a competency benchmark for generalist level practice, and for specialized level practice. For Generalist level competencies, the MSW program has set a program competency benchmark whereby 85% of students meet or exceed outcome measure benchmarks for each measure used. For Specialized practice level competencies, the MSW program has set a program competency benchmark whereby 80% of students meet or exceed outcome measure benchmarks for each measure used.
