Oluwayomi Paseda (she/her), known as Yomi, is a distinguished Ph.D. candidate with a robust academic background and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia. Her rich background includes extensive experience working in mental health settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and residential treatment facilities, and providing social and mental health services to individuals involved in the criminal legal system.
Yomi’s research revolves around reentry programs for women transitioning from incarceration to the community, with her dissertation focusing on Black women’s reentry experiences. She is committed to illuminating these women’s challenges and contributing valuable insights to inform policies and interventions for their successful reintegration into society. Her passion lies in effecting positive change within the criminal legal system.
