Alongside social work field education, Devon Menzel Sanger’s experience and interest areas include issues surrounding sexual assault, child sexual abuse, intimate partner violence, and mental health. She has worked as a therapist and director of adult services at a sexual assault center. She is practiced in crisis response, legal and medical advocacy, clinical supervision, and multi-disciplinary approaches to community change. She teaches field education courses and Social Work Practice and Interpersonal Violence.
